This fashionable beanie hat is made completely out of hemp fiber and available in 5 different colors. The material used is extremely durable, considering hemp fiber produces one of the strongest forms of textile in the world. Moreover, it does so using very little water, no pesticides and/or fertilizers at all. So the hat is not only sustainable itself, but also made in a sustainable matter using climate neutral materials. Good to warm up your head and cool down the planet!

Our Hemp Fiber Beanie is super comfortable and therefor perfectly suited for prolonged use. Thanks to it’s 100% sustainable hemp fiber fabric coming from organic and EU-certified agriculture. All of our hemp beanies are carefully knitted in the EU.

Available colors

The knitted beanie is available in 5 different colors of hemp fiber. Each single color is dyed using GOTS certified ecological dyes. Simply select your favorite from the list below and choose your preferred color before placing the hemp beanie in your cart. Our hemp fiber beanie is available in the colors:

To make it easy for you, you only have to select your favorite color or hemp fiber beanie. As the hats come in one size to fit all. Is the beanie too large? Simply roll the boarder up to make the beanie feel tighter and appear smaller on the head.

• Machine wash warm using a mild biodegradable detergent
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry
• Lay flat to dry

Sustainable hemp clothing

Hemp fiber comes from the thick stem and branches of hemp plants. An age old source of fast-growing fibers which were long used on a large scale for clothing, rope and sails for ships. Nowadays hemp fiber is mainly processed into hemp bioplastic (for the car-industry for example) and textile. Though there is a growing body of research and experiments going on to explore the possibilities of building with hemp fiber. This is because it is extremely sturdy material and good for the environment.

This is because hemp has the unique characteristic of being able to cleanse and purify the soil it grows in. And it needs only little water and fertilizers to grow into a usable plant. A process which is much slower with other resources, like trees for paper or cotton for clothing. By using more hemp in production, fossil fuels are spared and deforestation of jungles becomes unnecessary. More importantly, hemp is a great tool to extract CO2 from the air and toxins from the soil. Literally cleaning up the environment it grows in, while producing sustainable clothing and building materials.
