How to Use
Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend, typically 20 drops or 1ml of essential oil to 100ml of carrier oil. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 2% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.
Diluted with a carrier oil, Organic Citronella can be blended with your favourite essential oils to make your own massage oil blend. Use your favourite carrier oils. Never apply oils to skin undiluted.
DIY Insect Repellent Spray
Add 10 drops of Organic Citronella, 10 drops of Peppermint and 100ml of Witch Hazel to a spray bottle to make your own simple bug repellent spray. Don’t forget to shake before use.
Use in you diffuser to enjoy the refreshing scent of Organic Citronella. For a bug banishing diffuser blend add 3 drops of Citronella, 3 drops of Tea Tree and 2 drops of Lavender.
Citronella can be used in homemade cleaning products. You can use it for many cleaning tasks like floors, toilets, sinks, to kitchen surfaces to laundry. Add 20 drops to a bucket of hot soapy water for floor mopping. Combine 10 drops with a cup of Sodium Bicarbonate and pour down the toilet for a sparkly clean loo.
