Cannabigerol (CBG), the active component in CBG oil, is known to be one of the most important cannabinoids in Cannabis and hemp plants. Although we know there are many hundreds of substances identified in the plant, the chemical factory in Cannabis Sativa L. remains one of nature’s biggest mysteries. What we do know though, is that CBG is the precursor of CBD and THC – the two best-known cannabinoids. So without CBG, there wouldn’t be any CBD!

The cultivation of hemp and the development of its active components involves various stages, and the oil extracted during these different stages will provide different effects. Oil from early harvested hemp plants contains much more CBGA and CBG compared to extracts from plants harvested very late.
